Our First Fortnight

We are celebrating a whirlwind two weeks where our community expanded from a single player to over ten thousand: a journey made possible by our dedicated staff and the wonderful, cozy atmosphere you all have created together.

It is hard to believe how far we have come in such a short amount of time. When we launched MinePeak, we were just a small group of players looking for a place to stay. In our first week, we saw that number jump from 1 to 900 players. By the second week, things truly took off: we reached 6,000 active players, with a massive peak (no pun intended) of over 10,000 people playing at once.

This growth was completely unexpected, and it definitely kept the owners busy. To make sure everyone could actually play without lag, the owners worked around the clock to expand our infrastructure. We went from having just one server for each game mode to hosting seven servers per mode. For example, our Survival world now has seven dedicated instances, while KitPvP has expanded to two.

Our Discord community has been just as active, recently surpassing 2,000 members. We have already hosted two successful giveaways with a combined prize pool of over $350 in ranks and coins to say thank you for sticking with us.

Beyond the numbers, the best part of this journey has been the atmosphere. The community has shown incredible coziness and warmth; it is common to see veterans helping new players find their footing or sharing resources. To keep this environment safe and friendly, we have brought on a fresh Moderator Team to look after our favorite modes:

• Survival: Axolotl, GUMGreen, AzexxThePenguin, zuming, and Zw3y_.
• Lifesteal: D3mon1326, Stalexa, TheQuietThreat, and Frappuchii.
• OP Survival: DraculaGamer, greenollie, and Piecest.

We have also updated our maps to reflect the season - you can see the new winter themes across all our lobbies.
